of Rachel
Bethlehem was the place where Jacob’s wife
Rachel gave birth to Benjamin and where she was
laid to rest. Rachel and Leah are the brides
of Jacob that gave birth to the Twelve Tribes
of Israel.
Genesis 35:19 And Rachel died, and was buried
in the way to Ephrath, which
is Bethlehem.
Isaiah 65:9 And I will bring forth a seed
out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor
of my mountains.
